What is the RECAP?

The RECAP is a professionally designed magazine which represents “CAPPA”, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting. The RECAP is distributed four times a year to members and other selected stakeholders.

Readership

The RECAP is circulated by mail to regular CAPPA members. This membership includes over 1200 regular members and 1000 student members. The RECAP is also published on our website.

Ages range from new graduates to retired members. Most of our members are in Calgary, but we do have members across the country.

Design, Content and Editorial Direction

The RECAP allows us to connect with our members in this ever changing oil and gas industry and is printed on high quality white paper stock in full colour.

Each edition of the RECAP includes a mixture of feature stories on broad issues and topics facing our members, reports from and about the association and engaging and entertaining short material for our members to enjoy.

Write for RECAP

• Article must be original in nature.
• Maximum word length of the article is around 1000 words.
• Maximum of three pictures/ illustrations may be added to the article.
• All photos should be high resolution with at least 300 dpi to get clarity in our magazine.
• Author's details (Name, Designation, Email id, Picture and Brief bio) must be supplied with the article.
• Selected articles will be published with due courtesy to the author and the organization.
• Final edits can be made by the magazine editors
